"Painted Lady" Victorian home,

from almost every window and is the perfect
retreat, whether away from home due to business
or pleasure.

For
those who loved the quiet luxury and privacy
of the wonderful Sherman House (now, sadly
closed), which was located on the same street
as the Cottage, or those who miss the Victorian
charm of the Bed & Breakfast Inn on
nearby Charlton Street (also, now closed),
Nelsons Cottage provides the perfect solution
for your accommodation needs when visiting
San Francisco.
About
the Cottage
There
is a private entrance that leads you through
a pretty English-style garden to the Cottage,
which sits in the middle of the block, surrounded
by gardens, so that it is completely peaceful
and private. The Cottage, which is decorated
to a very high standard, has a living room
with a wood-burning stove, fully equipped
state-of-the-art kitchen with a dining area
for four, a master bedroom with a king sized
bed facing the garden, and an office with
French doors leading to a private patio.
The office can be converted to a second
bedroom, if desired. For a complete guide
